Abstract

This article is based on the analysis of current domestic and foreign literature and deals with the problem of diagnostics of influenza-associated pneumonia in children. Clinical features of primary viral and viral-bacterial pneumonia are described. We presented a critical characteristic of laboratory and imaging methods for the diagnosis of influenza-associated pneumonia, we justified the possibility and the feasibility of their use in pediatric practice, depending on the purpose of the study and the stage of monitoring.
